Goldner Hawn Johnson & Morrison Incorporated is a private equity investment firm based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Since our formation in 1989, we have produced excellent returns for our investors and our business partners. We take a long-term approach to investing, provide expertise in a wide range of business disciplines, and focus our efforts in industries and geographies where our experience and relationships give us a sustainable competitive advantage.

Over the past 20 years, the firm has invested $550 million (excluding institutional equity co-investments) in 30 platform companies. Marathon Fund V, was established in 2004 with $254 million of committed equity capital. 

GHJ&M's investment focus is summarized as follows:

  • Companies with annual EBITDA of at least $5 million

  • Control-oriented equity investments

  • Will consider growth oriented and buyout investment opportunities in a range of industries and market segments

  • Preference for companies located in the Upper Midwest
